About our role:Lactalis Australia is a leading dairy company with a strong national presence. As the Site Controller, you’ll be the finance business partner to the Site Manager, steering performance across both B&M and Y&D. You will own site reporting cycles, budgets and forecasts, and provide insight that drives operational efficiency. Assist management with the preparation of Capital expenditure Proposals and Business Case evaluations.Complete site forecasts and budgets for both B&M and Y&D SBUs. Reconcile General Ledger Balance Sheet Accounts, including control accounts. Investigate and follow up all uncleared items.Communicates the appropriate information as to the steering of the site's Performance.Support Departmental Managers across the site with financial analysis for improvement projects. Produces financial simulations on the opportunities for commercial development and conducts ad hoc studies on margins and profitability.Regularly produces management information, analyses results and the variances with respect to the budget and Y-1.Participates in creating and in implementing new management tools for the site. Suggests improvements in the analysis supports. Makes sure that the management rules are applied in the various departments in a streamlined and coherent manner.About you:To succeed as a Site Controller, you must hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business/Commercial Accounting, or Engineering (CA/CPA/CIMA/CFA is a plus). With at least 3 years’ experience in management control roles (ideally within manufacturing or FMCG), you bring advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong experience with ERP systems, especially SAP.You demonstrate high integrity and ethical standards, possess strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, and approach challenges with a strategic, proactive mindset. Your excellent collaboration and team-building skills enable you to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic settings. You balance accuracy with speed, navigating complex situations through clear analysis, and excel when partnering with leaders to drive performance.
